Overview
A Fletcher Hills Systems in-house product pairing plein-air and studio artists with short-term-rental hosts who want real artwork in their units. Hosts browse local artists, book a residency or a commission, and pay through Stripe Connect; artists get commissions + exposure. Sprint plan complete, build scheduled Q3 2026.
Challenge
Independent artists lack scalable distribution; STR hosts pay hundreds per unit for generic mass-produced wall art. The marketplace alignment is obvious but has no dominant player.
Approach
Next.js + Supabase + Stripe Connect + geosearch for artist discovery, with a dual dashboard for artists and hosts. Phase-0 blockers documented: branding, domain, Stripe Connect approval.
Outcome
In planning — sprint plan complete at `business/artbnb-sprint-plan.md`. Targeting public beta Q3 2026.
