An end-to-end A&R workflow platform built in 14 days for a music-industry client pitching a major-label producer. Core modules: artist CRM (grid / list / fuzzy search / filters / sort), 4-tab artist detail, demo review with an audio player + timestamped comments, deal kanban with drag-and-drop + timeline, a real-time activity feed with KPIs and pipeline charts.
Challenge
Bring a demo-quality A&R SaaS from nothing to buyer-ready in a 48-hour final sprint, with production auth, real-time data, role-based access, and enough polish to close a deal with an enterprise music-industry buyer.
Approach
Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, security rules, indexes) as the backbone; shadcn/ui + Tailwind v4 for a rapid, consistent UI; Recharts for pipeline + KPI charts; @hello-pangea/dnd for kanban; real-time hooks on every list; fuzzy search in-memory for low-latency.
Outcome
Backend 100% complete, UI ~45% at snapshot, shipping demo slice (demos + deals pages + seed data) for live buyer demo on Day 14.
